Dr. Lenick has earned Accreditation status with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is one of 300 dentists in the world to have earned this honor and the first dentist in Southern West Virginia.

She graduated from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1983. Following graduation she completed a General Practice Residency at the same university. After practicing as an associate dentist in the Charleston area, she established full time practice at 1311 Quarrier Street in 1988. she has also achieved the level of Pankey Institute Scholar. She is a member of the Academy of Pankey Scholars and has been elected to the Board of Advisors at the Pankey Institute. She is also visiting faculty with Dr. Jimmy Eubanks in Plano, Texas.

She is married to Dr. John Vargo and they have two grown children.
